PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. PRF is derived from your own blood and contains healing properties and growth factors that can naturally heal different body areas. PRP and PRF are similar, although PRF contains a higher concentration of growth factors compared to PRP. PRF also contains mesenchymal stem cells, fibrin, and platelets. The growth factors are released slowly over time for enhanced treatment results. PRF injections naturally promote hair growth over a period of time.
The treatment process begins with a standard blood draw. We then take your blood sample and place it in a centrifuge. This device spins the blood for several minutes to isolate the platelets, fibrin, and mesenchymal stem cells, and growth factors from the red blood cells.
We then prepare the PRF into an injectable form and, after numbing the scalp, use a very small, thin needle to make a series of strategic injections into different areas to increase blood flow, heal damaged hair follicles, wake dormant ones, stimulate natural collagen and elastin production, and promote hair growth.

Hydrafacial® Keravive is a popular and effective treatment that can help patients achieve their hair restoration goals. It follows the same three-step process used during the Hydrafacial® but instead focuses on improving scalp health. We'll use the device and its vacuum technology during the treatment to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate the scalp, extract impurities, flakes, oil, and buildup from the hair follicles, and finish the treatment with a nourishing Keravive booster.
The device purifies the scalp to open the hair follicles, nourishes the entire area, and infuses the hair follicles with hydrating serums and peptides. The treatment takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area you want to treat. You'll also receive a daily peptide spray that you can use at home after your treatment to support hair growth between treatments.
